Essex Border 4.8% ABV
A new golden beer from Nethergate, drinking more like a best bitter than its strength suggests. The fruity and spicy overtones are noticeable from the start on the nose and palate, whilst at the end the the sweet, soft orange notes return, resulting in a complete, well-rounded finish. £2.70

Brewed in celebration of the Red Poll Society established in 1886 and the original cattle of Suffolk & Norfolk. The breed is deep red in colour which is reflected in this delicious ale. £2.65

BUFFY’S BREWERY

Buffy’s Ale 5.5% ABV
Strong & warming, this deep mahogany coloured brew harks back to the origins of brewing at Buffy’s and to the roots of traditional real ale. A full bodied, slightly spicy but well balanced beer brewed using Fuggles, Goldings and Amarillo hops. £2.85

Buffy’s Bitter 3.9% ABV
A superb amber coloured bitter and good traditional flavour is achieved using Old English Fuggles and Goldings hops that grow in the hop fields of Herefordshire. The more modern First Gold dwarf hops are then added to give this quality brew added depth and bite. £2.65

Norwegian Blue 4.9% ABV
Quality Marris Otter malts are used, whilst the wort is flavoured with premium American Mounthood hops. English Fuggles and Goldings hops provide the balancing bitterness in this malty complex best bitter. £2.80

Polly’s Folly 4.3% ABV
Shortlisted for the "Campaign for Real Ale Champion Beer of Great Britain" a pint of this amber coloured bitter is just packed with those fresh flowery aromas that only American Mounthood hops can achieve. The more traditional English Fuggles and Golding hops add the required balance to this 'best bitter' whilst the underlying caramel flavours are achieved using a blend of Marris Otter, crystal and roast malts. £2.75
